How’s your week so far? We’re halfway through March and I feel like I blinked away the past 6 weeks. Time has been flying by, mainly because we’re in an exciting season here at the Roost. We’re working on new initiatives, bringing in tons of new brands and merchandise and we’re getting ready to have our first Book Club meet of the year!

With all of that going on, I'm writing to share some exciting news about the impact you're making every time you shop with us at Green Roost. We've always believed in the power of giving back, and thanks to your support, we're taking our commitment to making a difference to new heights.

Starting now, with every online purchase made on our website, we're donating 1% of every sale to incredible causes that align with our core values. Through our partnership with Purpose+, we're able to contribute to initiatives that support mental health, empower BIPOC women, promote sustainability, and restore our planet.

Previously, we relied on you to choose a cause at checkout, but we realized that not everyone was seeing this option. I totally get it, someone the thought of clicking just one more thing at checkout is super daunting!

So, to increase our impact and ensure that every purchase makes a difference, we've implemented a new system where 1% of every sale automatically goes towards these worthy causes.

You’ll still have the option to choose your cause, but if you aren’t able to decide, we will divide the giving across our 4 causes.

EcoTree: Your support helps plant trees across the globe, restoring wildlife habitats, mitigating wildfires, and combating climate change.

TruFund: Your contribution empowers BIPOC women to run their small businesses in vulnerable communities across California, creating opportunities for economic growth and prosperity.

 Recycled Clothing Direct: By choosing this cause, you're investing in the future of fashion by supporting climate-neutral and recycled clothing initiatives.

 Mental Health Direct: Your purchase directly supports mental health organizations across the United States, providing crucial resources and support to those in need.

In addition, we're excited to share that we're in talks with Purpose+'s CTO to develop a program that will allow you to donate at checkout when you shop in-store. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting initiative!
